Presentation:    Blitz Build - A House in Two Weeks
This presentation will describe how Habitat for Humanity – Spokane conducts the “Blitz Build” each summer.  This is a special project that brings in a massive number of volunteers to build a

house in just a two week period.  We will hear about scheduling the contractors, volunteer groups, support teams and materials for this unique project.  A discussion will follow.

Presenter:    Fred Johnston, Construction Director, Habitat for Humanity – Spokane
Fred has been with Habitat for Humanity – Spokane for four years.  He started as an AmeriCorps volunteer at HfH-Spokane and after a two year term was hired on as a Project Manager for the affiliate.  After a year as the Project Manager, he was recently promoted to Construction Director, Fred holds a Bachelors Degree in American History from Allegheny College
