We will meet at the Second Harvest Food Bank, where we will enjoy a tour of the facility and learn about how Second Harvest is re-engineering their food distribution process. Each attendee should please bring along a donation of non-perishable food items to this meeting/tour. Individual cash donations are also welcome. Please refer to the ‘2ndHarvest.pdf’ attachment for ideas of what to bring. Spouses/SOs are welcome!
Presenter: Jason Clark, Executive Director, 2nd Harvest Inland Northwest.
Jason Clark has been involved in food banking for 16 years. He has been focused on expanding the organization’s ability to address hunger in effective and innovative ways. This has included operational upgrades, new service delivery models, increased community awareness and expanded fundraising capacity. Clark has served as a member of the National Council, which represents the more than 200 Feeding America members, and the network’s Core Business Task Force. He currently serves on the Feeding America Board of Directors. Clark, a 2004 graduate of Leadership Spokane, earned his BA in history from Missouri Western State University (St. Joseph) and MBA from Benedictine College (Atchison, Kan.).
